Project Summary
Istanbul lacks a drive-in cinema. It still does. With this project, I wanted to bring one to the big city. As a Youth Megacentre, this project has a high-end student residence that caters to several universities in the neighbourhood. The shopping mall block is tailored to suit a young clientele, and the cultural centre houses clubhouses and an indoor theatre.
Obviously, the drive-in cinema is the main attraction. An indoor viewing terrace decked with restaurants also overlooks the cinema screen, the whole outdoor facility taking advantage of the natural slope of the hill here.
